Multi-Use Fanny Pack -- also Handlebar!
January 02, 2012
[$40 mailed in the US. Non-US extra.]
This is a big super-versatile fanny pack. It can also be used as a Shoulderbag and has a nice carry-handle on the top.
You could easily carry 10 pounds of gear in and on it for an all-day hike, say. Spare clothes, lunch, some gear. Carry a bladderpack above it for yer water.
I see that this kind of bag is also being used as a bike handlebar bag -- you strap it on with the cinch straps or the waist-strap.
It also attaches to the back of either Modular Field Pack, which is neat.
Details: Constructed of rugged tactical polyester. Can be used four ways: as a waist pack, with carry handle, as an attachment to a modular pack or as a shoulder bag. Key features include: One main compartment with dual mesh pockets with zippered closure, front accessory pocket with organizer sleeves, two side pockets with modular attachment points, heavy duty nylon coiled self repairing zippers, compression straps, modular attachment points on front and back side; removable shoulder strap. A versatile bag designed for multiple uses. (Item Number: 56-4107.)
